Lossiemouth-based Windswept Brewing Co will cease trading at the end of the month unless a buyer can be found.
In a statement, co-founder Nigel Tiddy cited spiralling energy and raw material costs alongside falling sales caused by the cost-of-living crisis as reasons for the closure.
The challenging conditions, Nigel said, left the business “in the position where we are no longer able to ride out the storm”.
Windswept was founded by Nigel and his business partner Al Read in 2012. Both had previously been RAF pilots.
It won a number of awards over the years and in 2019 its Weizen wheat beer was named Champion Beer of Scotland by CAMRA.
Nigel concluded: “I am so grateful to all of our wonderful customers, our amazing staff and the support of our local community. Thank you for believing in us.”
The business remains open for online sales until Monday 29 January, with its Tap Room and Shop closing on Saturday 3 February.
