The latest gin to be released by Tobermory Distillery has fought off stiff international competition to be named the World’s Best Classic Gin by a top industry awards body.
Launched in October, Hebridean Mountain Gin impressed judges at the World Gin Awards, winning the overall prize of World’s Best Classic Gin as well the Country Winner for Scotland.
Tobermory Hebridean Gin, the Isle of Mull distillery’s core expression, also took Silver in the same category, following on from its Gold award last year.
Exclusive to Amazon, Mountain Gin is infused with hand-selected botanicals alongside a splash of new-make spirit from the distillery’s whisky stills. Wild heather from Mull’s mountains complements rowan berry, rosehip and 10 other botanicals inspired by Mull, to create a gin which is smooth and sweet with a gently warming spice.
Both small batch gins are wholly inspired by their beautiful island home on the Inner Hebrides and can each be enjoyed as a delicious gin and tonic or used as a base ingredient for an enticing selection of cocktails.
