Scotland Food & Drink’s largest sourcing event in 2023, Sourcing Scotland, returns to Perth concert Hall on Wednesday 25 October.
At least 70 Scottish food and drink producers will present their ranges and attendees can pre-select those they would like to hold speed dating-style meetings with. There will also be plenty of opportunity for informal browsing of the wider producers’ ranges.
Organisers are still looking for Scottish food and drink suppliers with high quality, market-ready products who would like to grow and reach new markets. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 30 August.
The day will run from 10am to 3.30pm and lunch will be provided.
Commenting on the previous event, one Scottish producer said it was “the best event I have attended so far, and I have done a lot over the years”.
Geraldine Bruce from Sainsbury’s also attended. She said: “It is incredibly helpful to see a selection of products from across Scotland available in one place giving buyers the chance to meet with established suppliers to enhance ranges or find out more about some of the newer suppliers emerging on the scene.”
