Scottish seaweed crisps brand Shore has secured a new listing with Tesco that will see its Sweet Sriracha and Lightly Salted 80g share bags on shelves in 48 of the supermarket’s Scottish stores.

This follows a limited-time promotional fixture in Tesco earlier in the year and comes hot on the heels of a three-month deal with Asda for the summer period. Additionally, the Wick-based brand has secured a long-term listing at Morrisons, with products now available in 46 stores.

Furthermore, Shore has expanded its distribution footprint in the UK with a new listing at Go Outdoors. This deal will see Shore’s share bag chips available in 60 Go Outdoors stores across the country.

Keith Paterson, founder of Shore, said: “With these new listings, the Shore brand will now be available to a whole new audience. This is a key step in delivering our mission to make local seaweed a sustainable and heathy food of the future.

“This collection of long-term deals is worth well over six figures and will help us continue our fast-paced growth trajectory. Shore chips offer a healthier alternative snack with award-winning taste, a combination that has been central to the brand’s success so far.”

Shore is already stocked in Sainsbury’s and Scottish Co-op stores year-round. The brand was launched in 2020 and has sold more than two million bags of chips to date.
