Scotland Food & Drink has named Pamela Scott as its new chair, replacing the outgoing Lucinda Bruce-Gardyne.
With an extensive career spanning nearly 30 years in the consumer goods sector, including key leadership roles in drinks manufacturing, quality assurance, and sustainability, Scott brings a wealth of expertise to the role, including 28 years at Diageo.
As chair, she will work closely with Scotland Food & Drink’s board and leadership team to deepen collaboration across the partnership and wider industry to champion Scottish produce at home and abroad and support sustainable growth initiatives that emphasise innovation and Scotland’s rich food and drink heritage.
Pamela Scott commented: “Scotland’s food and drink businesses are an integral part of our national identity, celebrated for their quality, provenance, and the passionate people behind them.
“I am honoured to lead Scotland Food & Drink’s board as we work together to create even greater opportunities for our members, from small producers to established brands, to shine on the world stage. Our goal is to ensure that Scotland’s food and drink remain at the heart of a thriving economy and a sustainable and profitable future.”
