Edinburgh-based Nuisance Drinks is extending its range of soft drinks with the launch of two new flavours: Pink Grapefruit & Basil and Rhubarb & Ginger.
Commenting on the new launches, the brand’s founder, Hugo Morrissey, said: “We were really keen to add a citrus flavour to the repertoire and pink grapefruit is seriously unrepresented in soft drinks.”
Hugo said the Rhubarb & Ginger was more of a timeless classic: “You just can’t go wrong, and the subtle warmth of the ginger is a beautiful addition.”
Nuisance was born in 2020, when Hugo swapped his city desk for gardening gloves. Armed with his mum’s recipe and a pocket full of dock leaf, he spent lockdown foraging nettles (often considered a nuisance) before launching an initial trio of sparkling botanical soft drinks that celebrate the wild side of nature.
Nuisance’s Drinks are all low in calories, contain no artificial sweeteners and are suitable for vegans. The business donates 1% of its sales to Rewilding Britain – a charity dedicated to rewilding the countryside to enhance ecosystems and encourage biodiversity.
Nuisance Drinks are available at various outlets throughout the UK, on Amazon and via its website for £19.99 (12 x 250ml cans).
