Lidl has launched a Burns Night product range south of the border.
The retailer has expanded its offering to England and Wales following increased shopper demand for Scottish food and drink products, as witnessed by its popular Scottish Larder promotions.
The new products hitting shelves on the wrong side of Hadrian’s Wall include a Donald & Sons Scottish Haggis Chubb (454g, £1.95), neeps (900g, 62p) and tatties (2kg, £1.35).
Meanwhile, Lidl Plus users in Scotland can enjoy exclusive offers on a range of Scottish produce such as 20% off the retailer’s Donald & Sons Scottish Haggis, Scottish Beef Lorne Sausage, Black Pudding/Haggis Slices and a Scottish Breakfast Pack Selection, with prices starting from 79p.
There are also Lidl Plus savings on other Scottish brands including Albert Bartlett Chunky Chips, Potato Croquettes and Frozen Rooster Crinkle Fries (£2.49 each), as well as Nairn’s Cheese Oatcakes (95p), Shore Seaweed Crisps (£1.19) and Lee’s Mini Snowballs (£1.69).
There is also Mrs Tilly’s Rabbie Burns Tablet (£1.48), Equi’s Isle of Skye Sea Salt & Caramel and Snowball ice creams (£2.99 each) – all washed down with a cup of Thomsons Scottish Blend tea (£1.85).
Products are available while stocks last.
