We’re pleased to announce that Landward presenter Dougie Vipond is returning to host the SRFDA celebratory lunch and awards ceremony, which will take place on Thursday 25 May at the Radisson blu hotel in Glasgow.
Dougie will be joined by Nick Nairn, who also appears on the popular rural affairs show.
The pair are also well known for hosting The Great Food Guys which – much like the SRFDAs does now – celebrated the best of Scotland’s food and drink. Alongside presenting the Awards, Nick and Dougie will share anecdotes from their TV careers and respective ‘day jobs’ as celebrity chef and Deacon Blue drummer.
Attendees on the day will enjoy a two-course lunch and, as an added bonus, Nick will also demonstrate how to prepare the starter.
The event will also feature a showcase of our finalists’ products.
