Scotland’s Speciality Food Show is returning to Glasgow this year, on 27-29 March, with the Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards joining as exhibitors.
Taking place once again at SEC, in conjunction with Scotland’s Trade Fairs, the show will host an array of zones for visitors to discover new brands and products.
The event will dedicate the Launch Gallery to new brands, including Isle of Cumbrae Distillers, Nuisance Drinks, Woodmill Game, and Roehill Springs Distillery.
What’s more, the Talking Shop Seminar Theatre will comprise a range of subjects from working with influencers to sustainability, with SRFDA Director Antony Begley chairing a Nessie’s Den session.
Furthermore, regional aisles will shine a light on small producers from different regions, with confirmed exhibitors so far including Lanarkshire Larder, Tastes of Fife and Food from Argyll.
Show Director Mark Saunders said: “We have new producers coming forward looking for stands already, as well as many exhibitors being in a better position to provide stock immediately in March so farm shops, delis, cafes, restaurants and hotels should expect short lead times on supply.
“Together with a comprehensive programme of talks, masterclasses and other activities this date should firmly be in the diaries of independent fine food and drink retailers.”
