The Times and The Sunday Times Scotland is hosting an event that will explore how the food and drink sector can deliver more entrepreneurial growth and high-skilled jobs, while increasing productivity and profitability.
The Future of Food and Drink Summit takes place on Tuesday 28 November at Aberdeen’s P&J Live complex.
The summit, hosted by Times radio presenter Calum Macdonald, will see speakers and panellists give a field-to-fork overview of the UK food and drink industry, bringing together global brands and start-ups at the forefront of product and process innovation, market development and the drive to net zero. It will provide a rare chance to bring together the whole supply chain to focus on the sector’s future with producers, manufacturers, processors, and retailers offering practical solutions to key industry challenges.
The full-day event will feature a number of panel discussions, case studies and conversations, and will conclude with a networking and drinks reception. Keith Thornhill, Head of Food & Beverage UK and Ireland, Siemens Digital Factory will deliver the keynote address, discussing the transformative power of innovation.
