Equi’s Ice Cream has scooped seven Great Taste awards for its luxury ice-creams.
The Rutherglen-based producer’s Traditional Double Cream won two stars, with Pistachio Swirl, Cookie Dough, Double Cream Vanilla, Espresso Coffee & Dark Rum, Hazelnut & Frangelico, and Sea Salt Caramel Pecan all bagging a single star.
This is the eighth year in a row that Equi’s has won multiple Great Taste Awards.
David Equi, owner of Equi’s Ice Cream, said: “Winning these Great Taste Awards is a wonderful acknowledgment of our team’s hard work and dedication. It was a delight to see the judges’ positive reactions, and we’re now boasting a total of 71 stars.”
The latest awards follow success at this year’s Royal Highland Show, where Equi’s was crowned Scottish Ice Cream Champions and Overall Dairy Champion for its Double Cream Vanilla.
