Two Highland distilleries are opening their doors this weekend (28 and 29 September) to offer whisky fans “an unforgettable journey of flavour, music, and exclusive experiences”.
Both Clynelish and The Singleton distilleries are inviting guests to celebrate the craftsmanship behind their single malts, with live entertainment, local food, and immersive whisky experiences thrown in.
The Singleton Whisky Weekend kicks-off on Saturday 28 September with live Scottish music and gourmet local food from Smoke Pit by Muir Hub Café. Tasting experiences include the Evolution of Whisky Tasting (£28) and an Elevating Tradition Cocktail Masterclass (£35). The distillery is known for its musical Singleton Sessions, and guests on Saturday can catch performances by local favourites Davy Cowan, Calum MacPhail and Tartan Paint.
Visitors to Clynelish this weekend can look forward to live jazz, guided distillery tours, and hands-on cocktail experiences. The Portland Jazz Trio will perform on Sunday 29 September and guests can also book a Distillery Operator-Led Tour (£40) or Cocktail Masterclass (£35). On Sunday, the Brora Heritage Society will uncover the distillery’s hidden history (£10).
