The Scottish National Whisky Festival is set to continue its tour of Scotland with a trip to Aberdeen’s Music Hall on Saturday 9 September.
The festival, which visited Eden Court in Inverness last month, was created to celebrate the historical relationship between whisky and Celtic music culture, and lets ticket holders “take a deep dive into the modern world of spirits and live music”.
Guests can expect to taste an array of spirits from around the globe and meet the personalities behind them, whilst immersing themselves in modern Celtic culture and music.
Hundreds of whiskies and other spirits – including rum, cognac and liqueurs – are available to sample during each three-and-a-half-hour session and are offered alongside a specially curated bill of live music and entertainment from celebrated Scottish artists that reflects the energy and identity of the host city.
Each session also features cocktail pop-ups by industry-leading mixologists and bars, brewery collaborations, local food vendors and a whisky shop selling a number of festival-exclusive bottlings.
The festival also visits Summerhall, Edinburgh on 9 December before concluding at SWG3 in Glasgow on 27 January 2024.
Festival co-ordinator Gareth Croll commented: “Our whisky festivals are an embodiment of the whisky pioneers, personalities and groundbreaking artists who make them up in every city, so it is a delight to be heading on the road again.
