Aldi is showcasing 18 of its Scottish suppliers at this year’s Royal Highland Show and will be, for the first time, offering alcohol samples.
Visitors to its stand will have the chance to try some of the country’s finest tipples from suppliers including Eden Mill, Williams Brothers Brewing and Fierce Beer.
Eden Mill is known for opening Scotland’s first single-site brewery, whisky and gin distillery, on the edge of the Eden Estuary. The brand has worked with Aldi since 2013 and four flavours from its Toradh gin range will be available to try: Original, Tropical, Seville Orange, and Plum & Pink Grapefruit.
Matthew Millar, Senior Account Manager, Eden Mill, said: “We are so pleased to be able to showcase a range of our premium gin to visitors at this year’s Royal Highland Show. I’d like to thank Aldi for its support over the years and for the opportunity to bring our Scottish gin to an even wider audience.”
This year’s Royal Highland Show runs from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 June at the Ingliston showground in Edinburgh.
Aldi’s stand can be found at Avenue O30(P), where the supermarket will also showcase products from AK Stoddart, Aldomak, Angus Soft Fruits, Lactalis, Brownings the Bakers, Browns Food Group, Buffalo Farm, Downies, Equi’s, Grand Productions, Highland Fine Cheese, Kindness Bakery, Marine Products (Scotland), Quality Meat Scotland, Taylors, Stockans, and We Hae Meat.
