Lidl has unveiled a Deluxe Royal Fillet of Scottish smoked salmon topped with edible gold lustre.
Available from 15 December, it is made with Scottish smoked salmon sourced from waters where the Atlantic Ocean and North Sea meet, hand-prepared and finished to exacting standards by St James Smokehouse.
Lightly seasoned with brown sugar and pure sea salt to draw out the fresh, natural flavours of the fish, each salmon is then cold smoked over aromatic oak chips before being finished with an edible gold lustre.
Lidl is also offering a further five sliced smoked salmon products to satisfy salmon fans this festive season, with the Deluxe Smoked Salmon Slices, infused with Beetroot and Edible Gold Lustre; the Deluxe Smoked Salmon Gravadlax Slices; the Deluxe Smoked Salmon Slices infused with Hortus Gin and Tonic; the Deluxe Smoked Salmon Slices infused with Champagne and Orange; and the Deluxe Rope Hung Smoked Salmon.
