Edinburgh Gin has revealed a new Orange & Basil gin created to suit the warmer weather.
Handcrafted using a blend of traditional gin botanicals mixed with sweet orange peel and basil lead, the new spirit boasts citrus notes balanced with subtle sweetness.
The new gin can be enjoyed in a simple G&T or as a twist on a Gin Fizz.
“Our Orange & Basil Gin combines two popular flavours that are not usually seen together in gin,” David Wilkinson, Head Distiller at Edinburgh Gin said.
“A combination of fresh and dried orange peels adds a sweet citrus flavour which plays nicely off the juniper. The basil gives a warm, herbal aroma and adds a savoury depth to the gin’s aftertaste.”
