The Ballantrae Festival of Food & Drink is coming back in summer 2022 with a live event.

The festival will take place on 11-12 June, welcoming growers, producers, cooks and creators in celebration of Scotland’s food and drink.

During lockdown, the festival took place as a digital event; last year’s online celebration featured the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Unesco Biosphere amongst others, who led the International Biosphere Symposium on sustainable local food from Norway, Finland and Germany.

Exhibitors included Dunlop Dairy, Errington Cheese, Pure Roasters Coffee, alongside a packed schedule that featured Chris Saunders’s gin workshop and a Scottish Cheese Trail.
