Lidl’s Scottish Larder in-store promotion hits stores next week, offering products from over 30 of the nation’s top food and drink producers.
Included in the line-up are family favourites Baxters, Tunnocks and Mackies, with award-winning Reids Bakery joining with its range of Scottish Shortbread and Oat Crumbles.
Managed by husband and wife duo Gary and Tracy Reid, the family-run bakery produces over 15 million biscuits every year at its Thurso factory.
Tracy Reid, Business Development Manager at Reids Bakery, said: “Joining Lidl’s Scottish Larder alongside some of the country’s finest producers is a highlight for us. We’re passionate when it comes to bringing unique products to the bakery aisle. We believe attention to detail makes food taste incredible, which is why we use the very best ingredients and experiment with flavour combinations.”
Launching across Scottish stores from 8 April, the Scottish Larder line-up also includes Haggis Pakora from Edinburgh-based Mrs Unis and Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream from Equi’s of Hamiton.
